Unfortunately, it was pretty much the same as our previous two panels, as our animator has been busy with other things. Also, the camera ran out of battery during the show. (And almost the entire video is facing the ceiling; so it’s just here for the audio.) But here’s a video anyway:

Several people came up after the panel to ask questions. One guy was a panel scout for AMKE and said we should really do this again at AMKE next year. =)

We held a panel at Karorshi-con at NIU today. More updates to come, but for now suffice it to say that we attracted an audience:

Another panel we went to later on I found quite intersting was “Baka Desnay!”

The panel was hosted by Jimmy Trevor of The Man in Japan blog, in this panel he discussed living in Japan and his animation project Baka Desnay! A series of shorts that Teach you Japanese it a non conventional method. Jimmy was very informative and actually quite funny, especially with his wild arm movements, he was, no pun intended, very animated. Can’t wait to catch the first episode of Baka Desnay! once it comes together.

Alright! It’s our first external media review ever, and we did pretty well.

Sad to say we will not host a panel at ACEN this year. The reason is simple: I was an idiot and missed the deadline for panel applications. I assumed the deadline was mid-March, when in fact it was mid-February. However, some of us hope to attend ACEN anyway, and hang out with whoever we might find there. So if you’re going to ACEN, let us know!

We’re looking to host panels at more cons beyond Karsohi-con. If you have any suggestions, let us know.

We had a great time at Anime Milwaukee, where we hosted the first-ever Baka Desnay panel! (In addition to Baka Desnay, I also talked about my experiences in Japan. But obviously those two things are related.)

Our next panel is at Karoshi-con and currently we’re applying for ACEN. We’re also working on getting a real Episode 1 completed, as opposed to just making trailers. Stay tuned to this site for more updates!

The Baka Desnay project is starting to get off the ground. We’re having our big opening at Anime Milwaukee this weekend. Here’s what you need to know:
